Commitment to Publication Ethics

E-BizPreneur Journal applies scholarly publication ethics principles throughout the publication process. All parties involved, including authors, editors, reviewers, and journal managers, are required to uphold academic honesty, objectivity, transparency, and scholarly responsibility.

This policy is established to prevent ethical misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, undisclosed conflicts of interest, and misuse of the editorial process.

1. Responsibilities of Authors

• Ensure that the submitted manuscript is original scholarly work and has not been published elsewhere.
• Do not submit the same manuscript to another journal at the same time.
• Present data, research findings, analysis, and discussion honestly, accurately, and responsibly.
• Do not engage in plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, or manipulation of research results.
• Cite all references properly according to the citation style required by the journal.
• Disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect the objectivity of the manuscript.
• Be willing to revise the manuscript according to reviewers’ comments and editorial recommendations.

2. Responsibilities of Editors

• Evaluate manuscripts based on relevance, academic quality, novelty, methodology, and scholarly contribution without discrimination.
• Maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts, authors’ identities, reviewers’ identities, and all information related to the editorial process.
• Ensure that the peer review process is objective, fair, and transparent.
• Make editorial decisions based on manuscript quality and reviewers’ recommendations.
• Avoid conflicts of interest in handling manuscripts.
• Respond to suspected publication ethics violations carefully and responsibly.

3. Responsibilities of Reviewers

• Provide objective, constructive, and field-relevant evaluations.
• Maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and do not use manuscript information for personal advantage.
• Provide clear feedback to help authors improve the quality of their articles.
• Inform the editor if there are indications of plagiarism, substantial similarity, data errors, or other ethical concerns.
• Decline the review assignment if there is a conflict of interest or if the manuscript is outside the reviewer’s expertise.

4. Plagiarism and Originality

Every manuscript submitted to E-BizPreneur Journal must be free from plagiarism. Authors must ensure that all quotations, paraphrases, data, figures, tables, and ideas from other sources are properly cited.

If plagiarism or originality issues are identified, the editor has the right to request clarification, require revision, reject the manuscript, or take other editorial actions according to the severity of the violation.

5. Conflicts of Interest

Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest that may influence the objectivity of the publication process. Conflicts of interest may include academic, employment, financial, personal, or other relationships that may affect manuscript evaluation.

6. Duplicate Publication

Authors are not allowed to submit or publish the same manuscript in more than one journal at the same time. Previously published manuscripts cannot be processed unless there is a valid explanation and approval from the editor.

7. Corrections, Clarifications, and Retractions

If substantial errors, ethical violations, or information requiring correction are found after publication, the journal may publish corrections, clarifications, or article retractions as necessary. Such decisions are made carefully by considering evidence, clarification from relevant parties, and the integrity of scholarly publication.

8. Confidentiality of Data and Manuscripts

All manuscripts submitted to E-BizPreneur Journal are treated as confidential documents. Editors and reviewers are not allowed to distribute, duplicate, or use manuscript content before the article is officially published.
