Author Guidelines

A. About the Journal

E-Biz Preneur Journal is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original research articles, conceptual papers, literature reviews, and scholarly works in the following fields:

• Management
• Business
• Marketing Management
• Financial Management
• Human Resource Management
• Entrepreneurship
• Digital Business

The journal accepts manuscripts written in English and Indonesian and applies a Double-Blind Peer Review process to ensure the quality and integrity of all published articles.

 

B. General Manuscript Requirements

Submitted manuscripts must meet the following requirements:

1.    The manuscript must be an original work and free from plagiarism.

2.    The manuscript must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

3.    The manuscript must fall within the scope of the journal.

4.    The manuscript must be prepared using the official journal template.

5.    The manuscript must comply with academic writing standards and publication ethics.

6.    The maximum similarity index is 20%.

7.    Authors are fully responsible for the content of their manuscripts.

 

C. Manuscript Structure

Research articles should be organized in the following order:

1.    Title

2.    Author(s)

3.    Author Affiliation(s)

4.    Corresponding Author's Email

5.    Abstract

6.    Keywords (3–5 keywords)

7.    Introduction

8.    Research Method

9.    Results and Discussion

10. Conclusion

11. Acknowledgements (Optional)

12. References

 

D. Manuscript Preparation

Title

• Maximum of 20 words.
• The title should be concise, informative, and accurately reflect the content of the study.

Author(s)

• Author names should be written without academic titles or degrees.
• The corresponding author should be indicated with an asterisk (*).

Abstract

• The abstract should be written in English. For manuscripts written in Indonesian, abstracts must be provided in both Indonesian and English.
• Length: 150–250 words.
• The abstract should briefly describe:
• Background
• Research objective
• Methodology
• Results
• Conclusion

Keywords

• Provide 3–5 keywords.
• Separate each keyword with a semicolon (;).

 

E. Formatting Requirements

• Paper size: A4
• Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
• Font: Times New Roman
• Font size: 12 pt
• Line spacing: 1.5
• Text alignment: Justified
• Page numbers should not be included.
• Manuscript length: 5,000–8,000 words or approximately 12–20 pages, including tables, figures, and references.

 

F. Tables and Figures

• Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively.
• Each table and figure must have a clear and descriptive title.
• All tables and figures must be cited within the text.
• Sources must be acknowledged if adapted or reproduced from other works.
• Figures should be of high quality and suitable for publication.

G. Citation and References

• Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as:
• Mendeley
• Zotero
• EndNote
• References must follow the APA 7th Edition citation style.
• A minimum of 20 references is required.
• At least 80% of the references should be sourced from scholarly journals.
• Authors are encouraged to cite recent publications, preferably those published within the last 10 years.

 

H. Peer Review Process

Each submitted manuscript will undergo the following stages:

1.    Initial administrative screening.

2.    Scope and format evaluation.

3.    Plagiarism screening.

4.    Double-Blind Peer Review by at least two independent reviewers.

5.    Author revision.

6.    Editorial decision:

o   Accepted without revision.

o   Accepted with minor revisions.

o   Accepted with major revisions.

o   Rejected.

The Editor's decision is final.

 

I. Publication Ethics

Authors are required to:

• Ensure the originality of their work.
• Avoid data fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism.
• Refrain from submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.
• Disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
• Revise the manuscript according to reviewers' and editors' comments.

 

J. Publication Fee

Publication fees are determined according to the policies of E-Biz Preneur Journal. If an Article Processing Charge (APC) applies, authors will be informed after their manuscript has been accepted for publication.

 

K. Submission Procedure

Authors should submit their manuscripts through the Online Journal System (OJS) by following these steps:

1.    Register as an Author.

2.    Log in to the OJS platform.

3.    Click New Submission.

4.    Upload the manuscript using the journal template.

5.    Complete the manuscript metadata.

6.    Upload any required supplementary files.

7.    Complete the submission process and ensure that the submission confirmation has been received.

 

L. Copyright

The copyright of published articles remains with the authors in accordance with the journal's copyright and licensing policy. By submitting a manuscript, authors grant the journal the right to publish, archive, and distribute the article under the applicable licensing terms.
